Let’s build a relationship together

A woodland wedding is sacred

Our founder, James and his wife Jess chose the perfect setting of Cheshire Woodland Weddings for their nuptials.

The reason was because the forest has long been revered as a sacred space, rich with symbolism and spiritual significance.

They included a hand fasting ritual often associated with Celtic traditions, which involves the couple’s hands being bound together with ribbons or cords, symbolising their union. This ritual was an early form of marriage.

A woodland wedding rooted in mythology and ancient rituals is not just a celebration of love but a profound spiritual experience. It honours the past, connects with the natural world, and embraces the timeless traditions that have shaped human understanding of love and marriage.

The exchange of vows in such a setting feels deeply connected to the cycles of life and nature, as if your promises are being woven into the fabric of the forest, to be carried on the wind and rooted in the soil. The simplicity and beauty of the wood make every moment feel sacred, every gesture more meaningful.

James and Jess chose a wedding in the wood on 17th August because it is more than just an event; it’s an experience that touches the soul, leaving a lasting memory of a day where love and nature intertwine in perfect harmony.
